Ryan
Dalgleish is the Vice-President of the bpc Building
Professional Consortium, a full service training, quality
assurance, certification and consulting provider to the
North American energy efficiency and green building market
for the past 25 years.
He has been involved in building energy efficiency and
performance areas of construction in both the commercial
and residential sectors for 14 years. Much of Ryan’s time
is spent on technology transfer and training, market
development and overseeing their certification division.
Ryan attended and continues to attend the University of
Manitoba for his education in adult and continuing
education degree and other continuing education programs
related to quality management, marketing and association
management. Ryan has also published a number of papers for
design and construction magazines and is frequently a
speaker at various technical presentations dealing with
the building envelope and energy efficiency across North
America. Ryan currently serves as the president of the
Manitoba Building Envelope Council, a director of the
National Building Envelope Council, is a founding director
of the Energy Efficient Contractors Network, director of
the building performance training institute for
construction, President of the Building Professionals
Quality Institute and is a member of the Manitoba Home
Builders Association Education Committee, Construction
Specifications Canada, Manitoba Chapter of the Canadian
Green Building Council Industry Liaison committee and the

Elden Freeman graduated with a Master’s degree in
Environmental Studies from York University in 1987. From
1987 to 1989 Mr. Freeman worked as a management
consultant in the Strategic Management Group of a very
large Toronto consulting firm. In 1989 he joined Freeman
Real Estate Ltd, Brokerage the family owned downtown
Toronto firm his father Barry started in 1972. From 1989
on he worked with his mother Nancy and later his brother
Daniel to become consistent Top rated Realtors. In 2008,
he along with his partners Nancy and Dan Freeman were
independently rated #1 Agents by Units and Value of
residential listings sold in downtown and central
Toronto (C01, C02, C03) and Rated Top 45 Agents out of
28,000 agents in the GTA for value of residential sold.
Mr. Freeman is passionate about the environment. His
home boasts a large array of solar panels, he planted a
native garden, grows some of his own food and drives an
energy efficient Toyota Yaris.
Since 2004, Mr. Freeman has dedicated a great deal of
his time and energy to developing a practical Real
Estate industry response to reducing greenhouse gas
emissions and environmental degradation through
conservation and sustainability efforts. Mr. Freeman
realized that Real Estate agents could act as an
efficient point of contact for the rapid deployment of
Realtors as Agents of Change, as leaders in spreading
the message of energy conservation,
sustainable development and whole home health to home
sellers and buyers.
With this in mind Freeman created the National
Association Of Green Agents and Brokers (NAGAB). As the
association’s founder and Executive director Elden
Freeman has developed an education program leading to
the the Accredited Green Agent™ and Accredited Green
Broker™ (AGA™ & AGB™) designations.
It is the vision of the National Association of Green
Agents and Brokers to be seen as a positive force in
promoting ways of improving energy conservation and
environmental awareness of buyers and sellers of new and
resale residential real estate across Canada and the

Norman is also responsible for motivating real estate sales

Norman is a former certified energy auditor, and has an
extensive background in sales and sales management in the
residential HVAC industry.

Audrey is one of the associations in
class course designers and instructors. Audrey holds
a Master in Environmental Studies (M.E.S.) from York
University, a Bachelor of Interior Design (B.I.D.)
from the University of Manitoba, and a Bachelor of
Education (B.Ed.) from the University of Toronto.
She is a retired member of ARIDO. Audrey is a LEED®
accredited professional (NC).
Audrey has taught sustainability in the interior
design programs Humber College Institute of
Technology and Advanced Learning and Ryerson
University in Toronto, Canada.

consulted on GUI development, performed accurate needs analysis

for the associations technology. Gary is a serial
entrepreneur and typifies what it means to be a
'technology person'. He has been involved in the
industry for over 17 years and with an innate
ability to track technology trends he has managed to

career.
Gary has founded 2 previous successful IT related
businesses and most recently (2007) sold AdvanceWare
Solutions, a software company with a focus on
inventory & order management. In addition, Gary
completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree at
University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg,
South Africa and holds numerous Microsoft
